Born in the field
This goes back a while. Created in 2015 to send SMS messages to the Moonshine collective's audience, Mookee has grown into a standalone global messaging platform.

In the beginning: The Moonshine Phoneline
A nod to the 90s rave phonelines: the venue for Moonshine parties was only communicated by SMS, using burner phones. One of Moonshine's co-founders builds an internal app for sending and receiving SMS to fans. This is v1 of what would later become Mookee.
Features roll out
The tool evolves. It gains automations, WhatsApp, conversion tracking, and many other features tailored for event organizers. Thousands of conversations take place around the world between Moonshine and its fans. With the rise of ChatGPT and other LLMs, the platform now offers a real conversational agent, designed for independent event organizers.
